Sustainability starts with a mindset.

Since 2018, we decided to reduce our environmental impact through a sustainable journey made of constant dialogue with our stakeholders, research for new materials and solutions, and inspiring a positive impact on our communities and the planet.

The strategy outlined by our company, anchored to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, has led to the introduction of new so-called preferred materials collection after collection. These materials translated into better results and impacts in terms of environmental and/or social sustainability compared to conventional production. But our strategy could not stop at this because we want to help you buy better and wear longer. We decided to use these materials not only on new items, but to aim for the progressive conversion, by 2025, of all the conventional materials of our bestsellers with preferred ones.

OUR COMMITMENT

Since 1995, we have devoted passion and care to the design of our products. Over the years, this dedication has turned into something more: a need to avoid the dangerous effects of climate change and a commitment to an increasingly responsible business that respects the planet and people. We believe that sustainability starts with a mindset, it is a natural evolution that we have to make and it goes far beyond the product, embracing everything we do.

By 2025 we set another challenge in our journey: to produce only items that include elements with reduced environmental impact in 100% of our Atlantis Collection. To achieve this goal, we are working not only on new products, but also on the progressive conversion of all conventional items into products with preferred materials and in compliance with our Atlantis Sustainable Products Principles, while remaining faithful in design and quality.

Our main achievements so far
PRODUCT AND SUPPLY CHAIN (SDG 12)
Designed 100% of the 2022 and 2023 collections with sustainable features: dope dyeing, organic cotton, recycled cotton and polyester, recycled nylon and Polylana® fibre
Enhanced supply chain monitoring through surveys analysed by SGS Italia SpA to prevent forced labour
Analysed the environmental impact of the most representative articles of our collection through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
Obtained the Carbon Footprint Certification by 2022
ENVIRONMENT (SDGs 13 and 15)
Absorbed approx. 182 tons of CO2 by 2021 with "Bosco dei racconti" (a private forest with 600 trees located 8 km from the company HQ)
Implemented energy efficiency measures at Master Italia HQ through a new generation condensing boiler and the replacement of neon lights with LED ceiling panels
PEOPLE (SDGs 4, 5 and 8)
Increased female presence in the company (now 58% of employees and 73% of managers) and reached 50% of employees under the age of 35
Invested in a new and more wide Welfare Program
