Responsibility & Partnership
We care about quality and sustainability.

We are serious about our sustainable mission and want to prove that we are transparent and trustworthy through partners who promote the highest standards in the industry.

We want our hats to be on people’s heads for as long as possible since high-quality headwear has a longer life cycle.

Through collaborations with international standards and associations, we want to give consumers the certainty that the products they buy have been accredited by a third party.
This means that our products are made responsibly and that we work with all partners in our supply chain to adhere to strict environmental and social standards.

Partnership, Third-party Standards & Programs

SEDEX

We collaborate with Sedex, a non-profit organization committed to increasing the spread of ethical principles along global supply chains and which is the largest platform in Europe that collects and processes data on the ethical behaviour of supply chains.
The Sedex methodology has not created a new certification standard, but has proposed a procedure (SMETA), which our company adopts for itself to conduct audits at its suppliers, collecting best practices regarding the conduct of audits in an ethical and social way. Sedex thus makes it possible to manage supply chain risks and improve working conditions.

Textile Exchange

Our company is a proud member of Textile Exchange, a global non-profit driving positive action on climate change across the fashion and textile industry. They’re mission is to guide and support a growing community of brands, retailers, manufacturers, farmers, and others committed to climate action toward more purposeful production, right from the start of the supply chain.

The Global Compact

Our company is a proud member of the United Nations Global Compact, the largest strategic corporate sustainability initiative in the world. It arises from our commitment to promoting sustainable development: respectful of human and labour rights, of the environment and aware of the risks of corruption. The United Nations Global Compact is:

  • voluntary initiative to adhere to a set of principles that promote the values of sustainability in the long term through political actions, business practices, social and civil behaviours that are responsible for future generations;
  • commitment, signed with the United Nations by the top managers of the participating companies, to contribute to a new phase of globalization characterized by sustainability, international cooperation and partnership from a multi-stakeholder perspective.

PPAI Responsibility Leaders

Our company has obtained recognition as Responsibility Leader 2023, awarded by PPAI which every year rewards companies in the sector that have stood out as models for Corporate Social Responsibility in the US market.

We Are

As product safety regulations are increasing in the United States, on federal, state and international levels, PPAI’s PRAG (Product Responsibility Action Group) believes it is essential that the industry as a whole recognizes and understands the importance of product safety. For this reason PPAI created the Product Safety Awareness Program, part of a larger initiative, which aims to create confidence in promotional products as an advertising medium at every level. The certification is mandatory for all industry companies who want to access the PPAI marketplace through trade-show exhibit space, sponsorships and advertising.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the most well-known labeling systems in the world that certifies fabrics for the presence of harmful substances. If a textile item carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be sure that the product has been tested for numerous regulated and unregulated substances, which may be harmful to human health. The test is conducted by the independent OEKO-TEX® partner institutes based on an extensive catalog of OEKO-TEX® criteria. You can find Master Italia in the official OEKO-TEX® Purchasing Guide as the holder of the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certificates n. PG020202938 and PG020126968 for knitted articles manufactured in Europe belonging to class 2 (products in contact with the skin). In the Atlantis collection we also offer products certified according to this Standard, click here to see them.

ASI

We are member of ASI, a US based association that aims to provide companies with the tools, resources and support to help succeed in the promotional products industry. The goal of ASI is to spread a culture of care with the best service, products, education, research and content available to help its members to prosper.

PPAI

PPAI (Promotional Products Association International) is the largest non-profit commercial organization for suppliers and distributors of promotional products. It has over 15,000 member companies and runs the largest promotional product show known as the PPAI Show in Las Vegas.
PPAI is the trusted leader providing essential knowledge, resources and communities to ensure member and industry success.

AEO

The status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) is a certification of voluntary membership that attests the reliability and safety of the company within the international logistics chain, attributed, after an audit, by the Customs Agency to economic operators in the European Union.

Thanks to this certification, importing companies can benefit from customs simplifications and less controls. All this results in speed in customs clearance operations, lower costs, prompt delivery and reliability, better relations with customs authorities and finally more prestige in the international market.

SGS

SGS is the world’s leading company for inspection, verification, analysis and certification services. Under the guidance of SGS, we are committed to reducing risks, optimizing processes and operating in a safer and more sustainable way.

LCA

Thanks to the collaboration with L.C.A. Ambiente, our company is carrying out a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) project, that is a methodological approach aimed to analyzing the environmental impacts of products and services, which consists in compiling and evaluation throughout the life cycle of the incoming and outgoing flows, as well as the potential environmental impacts, of a product system. Through an LCA it is therefore possible to reconstruct the phases that characterize the life cycle of a product/service.

Ritex

We collaborate with Ritex, an internationally accredited research center in the field of materials control, with the aim of verifying the quality, performance and healthiness of materials according to a scientific and rigorous approach. Choosing Ritex and the integrated By Your Side® program means choosing a service that involves the adoption of a control plan designed on the customer’s needs, the characteristics of the product and the type of supply chain to guarantee chemical safety and the performance qualities of the products and, at the same time, have control over the reliability of the suppliers. But it doesn’t stop there: it also means combining continuous updating with communication tools to give the right visibility to the company’s commitment and responsibility.

Cikis

A consultancy company specializing in sustainability in the fashion sector, Cikis is one of the fundamental partners who accompany us on our journey. Their objective is to help companies define strategic sustainability objectives and design an operational plan to achieve them, supporting them step by step in the practical implementation with a 360-degree approach: from strategy to planning to communication.

CUOA

At Master Italia we support CUOA Business School, the first Business School in Northeastern Italy, based in the prestigious Villa Valmarana Morosini in Vicenza, founded over sixty-five years ago and among the most important in the country. The Business School presents itself on the national and international market with products and courses, masters and events that respond to new professional challenges and promote the development of new business models, aimed at managers, executives, entrepreneurs and young graduates.

CUOA is not only an excellent training center but also an “incubator” of ideas which, thanks to a direct and continuous exchange between professionals, managers and entrepreneurs, allows us to anticipate needs and orient trends, with an always more international point of view. It also supports scientific research and publishing activities and is strongly focused on the theme of sustainability, pursuing the objectives of the 2023 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
