Packaging - Atlantis Headwear

The Italian environmental labeling system for packaging will be mandatory as of January 1, 2023. The Environmental Law (Testo Unico Ambientale – TUA) has transposed Directive (EU) 2018/852 on packaging waste with Legislative Decree 116/2020 and applies the European Commission Decision n. 97/129/EC, already recognized in the countries of the Union.

The law stipulates that, from 2023, all packaging released for consumption on the Italian territory must bear the alphanumeric code of the material concerned, in accordance with the decision of the European Commission, as well as the waste management information (collection + material family).

As Atlantis, we have taken the opportunity to simplify the types of labeling and packaging in order to optimize and reduce them, thus reducing the waste generated by our company.

The following guide provides useful information on the proper disposal of the materials used to package our products. Despite the disposal instructions, we strongly recommend that you always check your local regulations.

In France (decree no. 2021-835 of June 29, 2021), the labeling requirements mandate the use of the Triman logo, along with instructions for proper disposal. Please note that all our packaging falls under the following symbols, unless differently specified on packaging:
