The Atlantis collection conversion goes on!
Wearing our caps means wearing a story of quality and responsibility.
Conversion: A turning point, not just a step forward.
For over thirty years, we’ve believed that doing business also means taking real responsibility for our Planet and its people. In 2021, we made that belief irreversible by committing to rethinking the entire Atlantis Collection with a more conscious mindset. A bold decision that begins with our materials — preferred ones, carefully selected for their lower environmental impact and high-quality standards — and touches every part of the process: from design to end of life, through a supply chain made up of partners who share our values of transparency and accountability.
Our work goes beyond crafting caps. They are the tool through which we build bonds, spread awareness, and stand for products that are meant to endure. We don’t just make headwear. We create mindswear.
Our caps look ahead, ready for the next bold challenge.
Since 2021, every collection has been a step in our transformation.
Our most loved styles are changing from the inside out: same names, better materials. We’re reimagining our bestsellers with recycled fibers, organic fabrics, and low-impact solutions — all without compromising identity. A tangible evolution made of thoughtful choices and invisible details. Because the future is shaped by what you wear — and by what you choose not to leave behind.
After converting thousands of caps and embracing continuous growth, we’re proud to rely on solid partnerships with industry leaders such as bluesign® SYSTEM — a globally recognized framework for responsible impact management in fashion — as well as top-level certifications like GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GRS (Global Recycled Standard). And we’re just getting started.
This journey is rooted in constant evolution. For some time now, we’ve been using mechanically recycled polyester (rPET) — made from post-consumer PET bottles — to reduce environmental impact by reusing existing resources. And we’re going further, incorporating other preferred materials like recycled nylon, organic cotton, and recycled cotton across our collections.
But change never stands still. With our new collection, we’re taking the next step: introducing textile-to-textile recycled polyester, made from textile waste chemically transformed into high-quality fibers that look and perform like virgin polyester — but with a significantly lower impact. This material meets strict health and safety standards and allows us to look to the future not only with responsibility but with courage. Because true innovation means challenging the status quo and rewriting what sustainability means — every single day.
What’s inside our visors?
When it comes to meaningful choices, every detail matters — even the ones you might not notice at first glance. Between low-impact washes and single-material fabrics, there’s a key element in our caps that often goes unnoticed but plays a major role: the visor.
Take our Breezy-S, Erie, Rapper-S, Maui, and Digg-S models. Now imagine this: the visor can account for up to 30% of the total weight of a cap and represents around 10% of its total environmental impact, according to our Life Cycle Assessment studies. It’s the second most impactful component after the main fabric. That’s why we chose to act where it counts. Today, our visors are made of recycled polyethylene, allowing us to cut CO₂ equivalent emissions by 46% compared to virgin alternatives.
A significant change designed to make an impact — where it truly matters.
Atlantis is currently the only brand in the industry to systematically use low-impact visors across all eligible models. A concrete choice, fully aligned with our vision: reducing emissions throughout the supply chain without ever compromising on quality, style, or performance.
