Atlantis’ Impact During “30 Hats Later”

Our Carbon Footprint Report in Collaboration with Sea the Change

Atlantis x Sea the Change: together for Impact.

After the “30 Hats Later” event, we didn’t stop. At Atlantis Headwear, we chose to keep riding that same wave, guided by the energy that emerges when ideas, people, and responsibility come together.

With the support of our sustainability team and ongoing dialogue with Sea the Change, we continued developing a Report that measures the real impact of every action we take, turning it into concrete, mindful initiatives. For us, sustainability starts with materials but grows through the choices of those who live it every day. This is the manifesto that drives our vision.

Atlantis Headwear x Sea the Change: Carbon Footprint Report

Inside the analysis of “30 Hats Later”.

During the event, we closely monitored every aspect of our environmental impact, collaborating with Sea the Change to produce a precise report. This process allowed us to identify key areas for reporting, optimize event management, and offset residual emissions.

The results speak for themselves. Transportation, for example, accounted for roughly 90% of total emissions, while material impact was minimal thanks to the use of recycled glass, algae-based paper, organic cotton, and recycled polyethylene.

The overall Carbon Footprint amounts to approximately 36 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent, including energy consumption, logistics, and related activities: a figure comparable to over 145,660 kilometers driven by car or the production of roughly 57,800 Best Seller Atlantis Headwear hats, starting with our iconic Rapper Cotton-S*.

These numbers are more than just statistics: they are an invitation to reflect, improve, and continue a path that combines creativity with responsibility. For us, sustainability is not a goal, but a journey that renews itself step by step, one hat at a time.

*Calculations for kilometers and hat numbers were performed using the “EPA – Greenhouse Gas Equivalencies Calculator.”
