Atlantis Headwear x MarEdu

Together with Sea the Change, two days of environmental education at ENGIM Treviso.

MarEdu: understanding the ocean to protect it.

On October 20 and 21, together with Sea the Change, we brought the MarEdu project to SFP Turazza – ENGIM Veneto in Treviso, offering the school two days of activities dedicated to protecting marine ecosystems. Ten classes took part in a programme designed to help students explore plastic pollution and understand the connection between everyday habits and what happens when waste reaches rivers, seas and oceans. From microplastics to ghost nets, the aim was to make one often overlooked connection more visible: the link between our choices and the health of marine ecosystems.

ATLANTIS HEADWEAR X MAREDU

Atlantis Headwear x MarEdu: from knowledge to creativity.

Guided by Massimo Marchiori, Stari Ribar, the students then turned what they had learned into a hands-on experience. Fishing nets, bottle caps, plastic tubes and other materials recovered from the sea were transformed into small fish through a workshop combining creativity and environmental education. For us, supporting MarEdu means starting here: with knowledge and the involvement of younger generations. Because learning to recognize the impact of our actions is one of the first steps towards building a more conscious relationship with resources and the environment around us.
